About Us
My passion for travel began at an early age. With a scuba diving background, I had the privilege of visiting numerous beautiful beaches and resorts across the globe. This passion has only grown over time; I now have the pleasure of planning all of my own vacations, down to the most minute detail, to ensure that every vacation is unforgettable. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, I began a career in education. I was a first grade school teacher for 8 years. After my eldest was born, I was fortunate to be able to stay at home for a few years. During that time, I was planning my own vacations, as well as assisting family and friends with the planning of their vacations. I finally decided to turn my hobby into a career and Wayfinding Travel was born. My occupation in teaching, as well as my time at home raising my children, prepared me for my profession as a travel advisor. I’ve leveraged these skillsets in order to enhance my abilities as a good listener and organized planner, with a keen consideration to detail. I continually educate myself and stay on top of all the latest trends in this ever-growing industry. I am currently a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Advisors). My accreditations include Hawaii Destination Specialist and Mexico Destination Specialist. I also maintain certifications for various Ocean and River Cruise companies, including Oceania Cruises, Crystal Cruises, AmaWaterways, and Uniworld River Cruises. Like most industries, the travel industry is always changing, so it’s my responsibility to stay ahead of the curve, so that I can give my clients the best experience.
